Spring Term 2021

Spring Term 2021

We wish you a Happy New Year.

Sadly, we know that this Christmas holiday was one like no other and that the pressures on headteachers and staff continued throughout, but we hope that you managed to find some time to relax.

The start of the new term has been accompanied by another lockdown and school closures. We appreciate that this brings yet more challenges for both staff and pupils and that you will all be grappling with many complex issues.

We would like to reassure you that B11 continues to offer its usual high quality school improvement support which, as soon as you are ready, will be tailored to meet your specific needs. You can contact us at any time.

Distance learning self-evaluation tool

There is no escaping the need for remote learning this year. Our first-ever distance learning self-evaluation tool can be used to assess the strength and effectiveness of your blended learning delivery.

To support you through this new phase of lockdown, you can access this tool free here.

Free supply cover

If your school is remaining open to cater for the children of key workers, we would like to bring your attention to the services provided by our sister company, Premier Education. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Premier Education has been supporting schools with PE provision and supply cover wherever needed.

“The landscape as we know, is extremely difficult to navigate in such unprecedented times. Premier Education have been providing personnel to support us at St Christopher’s during these challenging and difficult times.

We have been delighted by the professionalism shown by all Premier Education staff attending our school and feel extremely fortunate to have such knowledgeable and committed providers coming in.

Premier Education have expertly taken on board the importance of COVID measures and this has resulted in them showing great flexibility in the way they work and these adaptations have worked wonderfully within our establishment. Premier Education’s staff continue to strictly adhere to all the safety guidelines in order to ensure that children and school staff alike are kept safe and well.”
