Despite the unprecedented situation regarding coronavirus, B11 Education remains open and operating as normally as the situation and government advice permits. Should schools be forced to close in the next few days, we understand that leaders will be keen to continue to carry on with improvement work as much as possible. Where appropriate, we can adapt our approach to planned work, for example by providing telephone or online options instead of face-to-face meetings, to ensure that discussions with senior and middle leaders, documentation reviews and action planning can all still take place.

In addition, an enforced closure may provide staff with the opportunity to review curriculum plans, to consider the questions they might be asked during an inspection once these resume, or for the senior leadership team to work through a developmental 90 minute conversation.
